Smart Phone to Replace Computers

Posted in Uncategorized at 8:25 am by grace

In today’s world, our hectic work schedules force us to stay in front of  the computer for extended periods of time. But as everyone knows, computers do emit a certain level radiation. While computers have brought great convenience to daily operations, they also brought with them signicant health threats. The other day my friend Lisa told me: she got yet another pimple. She went as far as to say that she would be willingto if it meant getting back her healthy life style.

Studies   have shown that long-term exposure to radiation increases the risk of all forms of cancer, tumors, blood disorders, miscarriage, headaches, insomnia, anxiety, aging of the skin, skin burn, etc. Lisa’s concerns are a good representative of the ideas of most OLs. They greatly dislike computor radiation, because of work they have no other choice.

What if we found something that could  replace computers but with little radiation?Luckyily we have the smart phone. 3 days afteri spoke to Lisa, she ecommended 5 cool smartphones to me.These productivity phones offer a lot more than the ability to make calls. They can provide the same  functions that computers can.

1. Motorola Droid

This is one of the thinnest landscape-sliding QWERTY devices available on the market, something that we haven’t seen too much from Motorola in the past. Its overall footprint is similar to the iPhone 3GS, expect for the fact that DROID is slightly thicker at 0.54″, where as the iPhone 3GS is 0.48″, but this is due to the inclusion of the physical QWERTY.

2. Apple iPhone 3G S

The iPhone 3GS doesn’t make the same grand leap that the iPhone 3G made from the first-generation model, but the latest Apple handset is still a compelling upgrade for some users. The iPhone 3GS is faster and  new features and extended battery life are excellent improvements. However the call quality and 3G reception could still be further improved upon.

3. RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630

The RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630 offers world-roaming capabilities as well as Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.2-megapixel camera. The smartphone offers a great design that combines a sharp display and an easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard in a fairly compact size.

4. Palm Pre Despite some missing features and performance issues that make it less than ideal for on-the-go professionals, the Palm Pre offers gadget lovers and consumers well-integrated features and unparalleled multitasking capabilities. The hardware could be better, but more importantly, Palm has developed a solid OS that not only rivals the competition but also sets a new standard in the way smartphones handle tasks and manage information.

5. T-Mobile G1
